One of the four commentaries on the Pseudo-Athanasian Creed given by the manuscript Douai, Bibl. mun. 25 is an anonymous poem, which may be ascribed to Alain de Lille. The poem consists of 180 verses, or 90 elegiac distics and its author belongs to the school of Gilbert of Poitiers, whose name is referred to for the authorship of a theory about the Tria singularia.
