The two manuscripts hold a privileged place in the tradition because both, copied in about 1430, are fairly close to Gerson and, in some cases, constitute unique instances of texts that were apparently not intended for reproduction. This fact justifies a study in depth of the copy of a group of poems common to both manuscripts. Firstly the author studies the quality of the copy of ms. 3638. In this manuscript the poems are preceded by the Pastorium Carmen which provides a point of comparison since it derives almost certainly from an autograph model.
