Justice, History and Memory. From Nuremberg to Jerusalem. Nazism attracts attention because it is the only form of government in the world which damaged itself by instigating a lot of huge trials. These trials interest the historical researcher on many levels. Firstly, they are seen as events in themselves ; they then provided a vast number of documentary information which was subsequently used to write the history of the second world war.
