Résumé en japonais.An Aesthetics of Replication or How Ghosts are at Work — the art of Kishida Ryūsei (1891-1929). The painter Kishida Ryūsei (1891-1929), one of the most prominent Japanese painters of the twentieth century, followed a peculiar and critical path that led him from vanguard expressionism to a form of strange realism of which the series of portraits of his daughter Reiko is the most famous example. This paper has two goals : the first is to explain this evolution within the process of a re -enchantment of the world characteristic of the 1910s; the second is to introduce and to analyse Kishida Ryūsei's own conception of realism, a realism made of viscosity and fundamental unsteadiness that opens stimulating perspectives for a renewed reflection on the problem of imitation in general and in modern Japan in particular.Le peintre Kishida Ryūsei (1891-1929), l'un des peintres les plus importants du XXe siècle au Japon, eut un cheminement singulier et critique qui le mena des avant-gardes expressionnistes à une forme de réalisme étrange dont la série des portraits de sa fille Reiko est l'exemple le plus connu. Cet article a un double objectif : il vise d'une part à resituer le parcours de cet artiste dans le mouvement caractéristique des années 1910 de réenchantement du monde ; d'autre part, à présenter et analyser la conception du réalisme propre à Kishida Ryūsei, un réalisme qui, à travers sa viscosité et son caractère essentiellement approximatif, ouvre des perspectives stimulantes pour repenser la question de l'imitation en général et dans le Japon moderne en particulier.Lucken Michael.
