This article proposes a quick survey of the qualities of Pancho Villa's heroic charaaer in the revolutionary corridos. These are historically and culturally contextualised, with the antecedents in the early outlaws' corridos and their incidence in the creation of a virile Mexican's image in the national psyche.Cet article propose un rapide passage en revue des attributs de la figure héroïque de Pancho Villa dans les corridos révolutionnaires.
