The impact of unifying housing benefits on beneficiaries’ consumer profiles. Individual housing benefits in the rental sector can serve a two-fold objective : increase expenditure for other consumption items (or savings) by increasing the disposable income after factoring housing expenditure but also, of course, increasing housing consumption by facilitating access to larger or more comfortable (and thus more expensive) housing, which assumes that the beneficiary moves.
