L'espace économique existe-t-il ?

Does economic space exist ? — Is it possible to study economic space in a scientific way without being connected to the great economic theories ? This approach is possible by admitting that space is an object built by the mean of an experimentation. Therefore we can't elaborate an economic theory of spatial organization from the only economic concepts. However the economic analysis is always useful in order to produce a temporary and partial explanation of spatial organization.Peut-on étudier l'espace économique dans une démarche scientifique sans se rattacher nécessairement à l'une des grandes théories économiques ? Cela est possible si l'on admet que l'espace est un objet construit dans le cadre d'une expérimentation. C'est pourquoi on ne peut élaborer une théorie économique de l'organisation spatiale à partir des seules catégories économiques.
