In late 2001, RMIT Engineering embarked on aproject to renew all Undergraduate programs as capability driven curricula. This paper describes the conceptual and methodological approach used to strategically define the graduate for the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. The approach draws on Socio-ecological Systems Theory and the application of an Active Adaptive approach curriculum design.
