Living and being unemployed in a village: crisis, unemployment and adaptation in a rural area Studies on real life of unemployed persons must take into consideration spatial realities: unemployment is not lived in the same way in town as in a rural areas. In rural areas, long-term unemployment goes together with partial withdrawal from trade economy and growing of substitution activities.
