The remnants of the fauna in the 4th century A. D. in the lower part 0/Ambrussum include some bones coming from the Vertebrate and shells coming from marine molluscs. They help understanding how the sediments they are issued from were formed : these sediments are backfills mixing parts of bodies ofEquidaes and of a large cat with food remains either from domestic species , ovine and caprine race, swine, cattle, hen, or from wild species, stag, rabbit, partridge, oysters. The set of oyster shells mainly includes the Lopha stentina species which seems to be identified for the first time in the area and which attests the exploitation of a natural deposit.Les vestiges fauniques du IVe s. ap.
