By comparing the ethno-linguistic cluster and written documents issued from southern Gaul from the 6th century to the first century B.C., we were able to distinguish three areas having their own graphic system, apart from the Greek and Phenician graphic patterns. Those three different areas are : an anepigraphic Ligurian one, a Celto-Ligurian one having used the Greek alphabet as its means of expression since the end of the 3rd century B.C., and an Ibero-Celtic one having made its own the Eastern Iberian writing as soon as the middle of the 4th century B.C.
