Dynamique spatiale agricole dans l'agglomération marseillaise: le modèle d'Allauch

Our evaluation of the recent spatial changes in the soil in Allauch is built on different pieces of information all linked together: aerial photography, satellite imagery, agricultural statistics and ground surveys. There are four phases in the evolution of this soil which has experienced some unprecedented upsets over the past two decades of urbanization such as some agricultural areas being reduced and divided into smaller areas, two agricultural systems specializing in intensive cultivations (areas of resistance) and extensive ones (process of urbanization). If the protagonists of agricultural and political life want to integrate agriculture into the organization of the land, a real local agreement must be proposed urgently founded on «societal profitability» which would guarantee its future by securing its territories and by making its activity more dynamic, around a new conception of agriculture in an urban environment.Notre évaluation des mutations spatiales récentes du terroir d 'Allauch est construite sur différents supports d'information mis en relation: photographie aérienne, image satellitaire, statistique agricole et enquête terrain. Quatre phases jalonnent l'évolution de ce terroir qui connaît depuis deux décennies des bouleversements sans précédent, face à l'urbanisation: des espaces agricoles extrêmement réduits et morcelés, deux systèmes agricoles individualisés vers les cultures intensives (espaces de résistance) et extensives (processus d'urbanisation). Si les acteurs de la vie agricole et des politiques d'aménagement veulent intégrer l'agriculture dans l'organisation du territoire, il est urgent de proposer un véritable contrat local fondé sur une «rentabilité sociétale», qui garantisse son avenir en sécurisant ses espaces et en dynamisant son activité, autour d'une conception nouvelle de l'agriculture en milieu urbain.Quaracino Franck.
