Our aim is the study of features of the new interactions between Biology and Mathematics. We show that the biological explanation tends to become similar to the one which is used in Physics. Starting with an analysis of the nature of the mathematical knowledge, we show that theoretical Biology can be, theoretically, completely mathematized. We conclude evoking the problem of the biological foundation of mathematical activities.
