Much of the literature on innovative use of Interactive Computer Design for learning has focused on either pedagogical or technical concerns related to how ICT can be used to enhance student learning to meet the needs of the so - called Net Generation of computer literate students. From these discussions, frameworks for instructional design have been developed to underpin various types of learning environments and ensure equity of access across a global student community. In acknowledging this diverse literature the current paper aims to focus on a third dimension to this discourse, that of the process that is needed to design and effectively use multi-media learning objects
