Fostering the bottom-up formation of effective teams in response to complex information is a difficult and pressing problem. For example, how does a local community develop and coordinate a response to a complex global problem such as climate change, or how does a trans-disciplinary design team gather and act in response to external opportunities? In this paper, we describe the implementation of a multi-agent system that interacts with a wiki to support collaboration in emergent processes. The system exploits the specifics of the wiki hypertext and the assumption that human users are well motivated and cooperative.
