System of management, economic rationality and social objectives of socialism The author begins with a comparison of the basic features of the socialist economy opposing the directive allocation system and the proposed market-planning system. This comparison uses 16 basic features and economic categories which exist in both systems but function in a diametrically different manner. He then analyses the essence of the directive allocation system, pointing to its weaknesses, and presenting in his third section the final model of the market planning system which implementation, though necessary, will not be easy to realize given the critical economic and social situation of Poland.L'auteur début son article en comparant les traits fondamentaux de l'économie socialiste, opposant le système d'allocation imperative des ressources et le système de marché planifié qu'il propose. Cette comparaison concerne 16 caractéristiques et catégories économiques existant dans les deux systèmes mais fonctionnant de manière diamétralement opposée. Il analyse ensuite la nature du système impératif, dont il relève les faiblesses, avant de présenter le modèle de marché planifié.
