The Theory of Property Rights and Allocation of Rare Resources in the Socialist Self-Management System. Legislation governing property rights in the socialist self-management system is such that it affects the manner in which workers choose to dispose of their share of the profits incumbent from the firm's profit sharing fund. A worker prefers to receive his share of the profits in the form of personal remuneration, eventually depositing it in his bank account, rather than to participate in the firm's collective investments.
