The aim of this article is to provide an introduction to a rigourous study of Hegel's aesthetics, as found in the Phenomenology of Mind, the Lectures on Aesthetics and the Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences. To achieve this aim, the A. shows the systematic coherence which links these three major Hegelian works on art. This bringing out of the speculative form of Hegelian aesthetics at the same time furnishes the opportunity of articulating clearly around a given point the syllogistic structure of the whole of Hegel's system.
