Hannes Friedrich, Peter Denecke, Gerd Ziegeler: Family and Psychosocial Factors in the Task of Facing Up to Chronic Illness. This article presents the results of research into the various ways in which multiple sclerosis evolves. Based on four voluntary interviews (92 patients, 52 spouses), it leads to a five-category patient typology according to the degree of acceptance of the illness and identity perception modifications.
