This text presents the synthesis of two initially independent techno-functional studies. The first deals with the lithic industry while the other is focused on the bone, antler and ivory industry. The sites studied are located in an isolated valley, on the fringes of the two lakes of Chalain and Clairvaux in the French Jura and are dated to the Late Neolithic. In this paper, our aim is to reconstruct the operational sequences linked to the transformation of skin, wood, bone and antler. As a result, the position of both lithic and bone/antler industries in the Late Neolithic technical system in Chalain and Clairvaux is defined.
