This study aims to determine by a comparative approach the variability of lithic production methods from three Sauveterrian sites in Provence. The differences observed are caused by opposing concepts evolving from the early Sauveterrian to the recent Sauveterrian. They are directed first of all and preferentially towards a more bladelet-like production process, fragmented using the microburin technique, then, at the end of the Mesolithic, towards the production of small flakes for retouching.Cette analyse a pour objectif de cerner par une approche comparative la variabilité des modes de production lithique de trois sites sauveterriens provençaux.
