Rethinking the Question of Inequality at Universities From social inequality to local inequality in three university’s curricula The purpose of this article is a reflection about the conditions of high school achievement through an empirical survey conducted on more than seven thousand students, who were first year students in 1992 and have been followed for four years, in different subjects as law, geography and sciences. We observed that the inequality in achievement depends more on the university than on the social origins of the students.
