Visions of the Alps and their role in transnational cooperation

Abstract : As part of a prospective study commissioned by the managing authority of the transnational cooperation programme, Alpine Space Interreg Illb, six « visions » of the Alps are proposed, each in the form of a map and a short description of future issues facing the area. The aim of these proposals is to provide a platform for debate between the different actors involved in this cooperation programme and to generate input for choosing the strategic directions that future alpine transnational cooperation will take (2007-2013).
