The adaptation of the portuguese agricultural market to the EEC mecanisms the case of the oil seed industry - This work aims to analyze the causes and results of the State interventions on the market of soil seeds. A progressive liberalization of the market starts in 1981 by ending the state monopoly on imports of foods and by limiting its intervention on the market. With Portugal joining the EEC the set up of new mecanisms is started. As far as oil seeds are concerned, it is the end of the State monopoly, and the cancellation of some customs duties.
