Unemployment Statistics: A Widening Gap over the Last Five Years - 2.8 million job-seekers are registered with the ANPE (the French National Employment Agency), however, unemployed people, as defined by the International Labor Office (ILO), number less than 2.4 million according to the INSEE Survey on Employment.
