Twenty Years of Industrial Growth - In twenty years, the French manufacturing industry went through profound changes: two oil crises followed by a drop in the price of oil were added to strong trends toward structural modifications. In the late eighties, after ten years of crisis followed by a period of convalescence, the manufacturing industry presented a modernized profile and a new dynamism.
