The erosion of industrial trade - If the hypothesis of a reduction of the price of oil is confirmed, the foreign trade constraint should remain loose from now until 1991 and allow, on average, an annual surplus from our goods and services of some thirty billion francs. But, according to the PROPAGE model, our industrial trade will probably deteriorate at that time. In 1991, the industrial balance will represent no more than 60 billion in constant francs, compared with 80 billion in 1985.
