The study of the alluvial terraces of the Tarn, Agout, Dadou rivers in the Giroussens-Lavaur region, allows us to show their relationships and their ages. On the basis of many surface finds of Palaeolithic industries we suggest a modification of the generally accepted chronology of these formations. The middle terraces, older than the oldest Acheulian in this region, must be of Mindel age, the lower terraces, older than the Upper Acheulian, must be dated to the Riss.L'étude de la région de Giroussens-Lavaur (Tarn) permet de mettre en évidence les relations mutuelles des terrasses alluviales du Tarn, de l'Agout et du Dadou.
