Medical consumption : social disparities have not disappeared - Despite the generalized use of public health insurance, the disparities in medical consumption have remained significant among different social groups. At one pole, the house holds of cadres are oriented towards specialists, frequent recourse to supplementary tests, and dentists. On the other hand, they are more and more abandoning general practitioners and medical assistants. Cadres and their families also continue to buy more non-prescription drugs than other social groups, even if this practice is decreasing in all categories.
