Thanks to the data base provided by the Système Unifié de Statistiques d'Entreprises (SUSE) it is now possible to analyze the structure of firms in France. The article provides several examples concerning their concentration In 1975. It emerges that the ten largest French corporations employ 10 % of the wage earners, and that professional equipment goods represent a sector of average concentration.
