Summary. — Burials represent a favoured element in ethnic identification insofar as they are integrated into cultural specificity. Their nature, morphology and distribution, as well as the definition of funerary space, are so much characters that, within limits, let us differentiate one human group from another and even situate this group on a chronological scale.
