Summary. — The effect of consanguinity on fertility, fecundity and mortality has been studied in the population of the Azgour valley (Circle of the Amizmiz, Province of the Haouz, Wilaya of Marrakesh, Morocco). The sample counts 503 couples including 242 consanguineous (Cons.) and 261 non-consanguineous (N-Cons.). This analysis shows that the consanguineous couples would be more fertile and that their offspring undergoes an indogenous and perinatal mortality more important than the non consanguineous couples ones.Résumé. — L'effet de la consanguinité sur la fertilité, la fécondité et la mortalité des enfants a été étudié dans la population de la vallée ď Azgour (Cercle ď Amizmiz, Province du Haouz, Wilaya de Marrakech, Maroc). L'échantillon compte 503 couples dont 242 consanguins (Cons.) et 261 non consanguins (N-Cons.). Cette analyse suggère que les couples consanguins seraient plus féconds et que leur progéniture subirait une mortalité endogène et périnatale plus importante que celle des couples non consanguins.Baali Abdellatif.
