Summary. — Colorblindness in its two forms, deuteranopy and protanopy, was investigated with the use of Ichikawa plates (1978) in 1210 males and 1923 females from different parts of Sardinia (Italy). The frequency for females is 0. 10 %. The frequency for males is 2.56 %. Significant differences were found between the frequencies of red and green blindness. No significant differences were found between endogamic and exogamic subjects or between subjects from the south and from the center of the island. Among Mediterranean populations the frequency of color blindness in Sardinia is the lowest.Résumé. — Nous avons examiné la cécité aux couleurs sous ses deux formes : deutéranopie et protanopie, en utilisant les tables de Ichikawa, chez 1210 h...
