Pour une approche géographique des risques climatopathologiques

There are a lot of climatopathological hazards. Some occur by the almost exclusive fact of the mesologic factors, others take place at the conjunction of mesologic factors and people's vulnerability to a climatic strain. It is talked about surexposition in the first case, and about meteo-rosensibility in the second one. In both instances the geographer has grounds for joining in, in both deductive and inductive processes (viz-, to help to punctually understand the pathogenic mechanisms involved, and to estimate the likelihood of indisposition, disease or death).Les risques climatopathologiques sont très nombreux. Certains sont le fait presque exclusif de facteurs mésologiques, d'autres font conjointement intervenir la vulnérabilité des individus face à une agression climatique. On parle de surexposition dans le premier cas, et de climatosensibilité dans le second. A chaque fois, il y a matière à investigations pour le géographe, par le double biais d'une démarche inductive et déductive, l'objectif étant d'une part d'aider ponctuellement à la compréhension des mécanismes pathogéniques et, d'autre part, d'évaluer la probabilité de survenue d'indispositions, maladies ou décès.Besancenot Jean-Pierre.
