Summary. — Farther than the traditional suburbs, a new way of occupying area half-rural, half urban is developing, called « rurbanisation ». Withing the scope of a collective study of this phenomenon on the Plateau de Champagnier, near Grenoble, the authors have pointed out a problematical theory and attempted a methodological approach. This article presents some results regarding two aspects of this rurbanisation: the demographical renewal of these communes formerly old and selective nature ; the transformation of the landed structure and its modalities. The two phenomena that go together, show a growing grasp of the agglomeration of Grenoble on this rural area more and more integrated with the neighbouring town.Résumé. — Au-delà des banli...
