The urban of Saint-Etienne is a by-product of a long conflict which was characterized by local capital's making way for powerful external capital. Today, as this national capital is being re-structured, it strengthens or refines the space différenciations within the town, and at the same highlights the domineering relationships exerting themselves on a characterized centre of sub-contracting industry.La structure urbaine stéphanoise est issue d'un long conflit, marqué par l'effacement du capital local devant la puissance du capital externe. Aujourd'hui le redéploiement de ce capital national renforce ou affine les différenciations spatiales intra-urbaines, en même temps qu'il éclaire les relations de domination qui s'exercent sur un pôle de sous-traitance industrielle caractérisé.Vant André.
