The mobilization of youth : chronicle of a political event The voting sequence of the spring of 2002 illustrates a kind of symptomatic brief of the attributes or behavioral features that characterized the youth's relations to politics during the last decade. Their erratic voting turnout recalls the persistence of a crisis in political representation, and the extent of their abstention in the first rounds of the presidential and legislative elections show a relative fragilization of their relationship to voting.
