In 1984, the institutional problem of thé so-called alternation has lost many of its mysteries, as shown by thé following five propositions : (1) The constitutional choices of political actors vary according to their position vis-à-vis power. A model makes it possible to deduce constitutional choices from such positions ; (2) Alternation has become the norm ; (3) The electorale is strongly in favor of alternation ; (4) The prospect for 1986 seems to be one of conflictual coexistence, should the opposition win the parliamentary élections (parliamentary alternation) ; (5) Parliamentary alternation would provisionally bring France back to the 1958 Constitution and lead to a reconstitution of the Fifth Republic.En 1984, le problème institutionn...
