In 1984, the institutional problem of thé so-called alternation has lost many of its mysteries, as shown by thé following five propositions : (1) The constitutional choices of political actors vary according to their position vis-à-vis power. A model makes it possible to deduce constitutional choices from such positions ; (2) Alternation has become the norm ; (3) The electorale is strongly in favor of alternation ; (4) The prospect for 1986 seems to be one of conflictual coexistence, should the opposition win the parliamentary élections (parliamentary alternation) ; (5) Parliamentary alternation would provisionally bring France back to the 1958 Constitution and lead to a reconstitution of the Fifth Republic.En 1984, le problème institutionnel, dit de l'alternance, a perdu nombre de ses mystères, ainsi que l'attestent les cinq propositions suivantes : (1) Les choix consti­tutionnels des acteurs politiques varient selon leur position par rapport au pouvoir. Un modèle permet de déduire les choix constitutionnels des positions par rapport au pouvoir. (2) L'alternance est désormais banalisée. (3) Les électeurs sont attachés à l'alternance. (4) L'horizon 1986 s'annonce plutôt dans la coexistence conflictuelle en cas de victoire de l'opposition aux législatives (alternance parlementaire). (5) L'alternance parlementaire ramènerait provisoiremenet à la Constitution de 1958 et se réglerait par la re-constitution de la Cinquième République.Duhamel Olivier.
