The structure of walras's consumer commodities model in the mature phase of his thought This article studies the consumer commodities model that Leon Walras developed in the mature phase of his thought, from 1877 to about 1895. That model was poorly understood by Walras's contemporaries and has been unrecognized in the present century. It is quite different from the consumer commodities model that Walras developed during the last phase of his thought and that has erroneously been considered as his best work on the subject. The article explains and evaluates the structural aspects of the model which allow for the determination of priees, of the rate of production of goods, of the rate of the utilization of services, and of the sale of goods...
