Wages, demand and unemployment: an international comparison The paper presents the estimation of wages and employment equations for most OECD countries. The empirical structure, based upon the work of Layard and Nickell, examines simultaneously the demand of labor, the determination of priees, the determination of wages and aggregate demand.
