A programm for the economists According to the author, economics suffer from five major weaknesses : « tabula rasa » as an illusion, pure theory, overcommitment in empiricism, exaggerate ideological involvments and lack of quality of the scholars. The major concepts with which one usually deals have to be enlarged : ressource would be better than production factor, human being than consumer or worker, organization than firm and processus and constraints deserve interest in every analysis. Economics should do a better use of the systematic approach and enlarge its field beyond what is subject to quantification in production or monetary terms.
