A study of human capital accumulation in France The aim of this study is to test a Human Capital model with French data (survey conducted in 1964 par the French National Instituée of Statistics. The sample used consists of 8 809 men aged between 15 and 67). Emphasis is put on two types of human capital investments : schooling and post-school investments (job investments). This study provides a measure of their rates of return and of their impact on the distribution of earnings.
