Choix techniques et concertation sociale : le rôle de l'expertise

If we depart from the principle that technical and social change in firms are closely linked, we are faced with a question - in what way are these two components articulated, opposed and complementary ? This diachronie monograph of a firm in the agro-food industry attempts to determine, over a ten-year period, the way in which social history has structured the social issues around technical change, and how the introduction of new technologies opened up new spaces for negotiation. The sociological analysis carried out studies, in particular, a new mode of social management of technological change, based on information and consultation with staff representatives (particularly joint committees) and the recourse to technological expertise on their behalf.Si l'on part du principe que changement technique et changement social sont intimement liés au sein des entreprises, une question se pose dès lors : comment ces deux composantes s'articulent, s'opposent, se complètent. Cette monographie diachronique d'une entreprise du secteur agroalimentaire tente de cerner, sur une dizaine d'années, de quelle manière l'histoire sociale a structuré les enjeux sociaux autour des changements techniques et comment l'introduction de nouvelles technologies a permis d'ouvrir de nouveaux espaces de négociation. L'analyse sociologique menée étudie plus particulièrement un nouveau mode de management social du changement technique, qui repose sur l'information et la consultation des instances représentatives du personnel (plus spécifiquement le comité d'entreprise) et le recours à l'expertise technologique pour le compte de celui-ci.Carré Dominique.
