Revolutions in 1989 : End of a World and Birth of a Century, by Aleksander Smolar The perception of the events of 1989 has strongly changed during the last 10 years. At the beginning those events were compared to some of the great revolutions of the past ; today they are mainly viewed as a simple geopolitical change. We analyze the reasons for this modified perspective, taking into account the evolution of the societies in both Eastern and Western countries.Que reste-t-il de l'année 1989 ?
