Summary : The collection of sensory eues in perceptual identification Starting from a model in four phases elaborated for perceptual identification, the authors study especially the initial phase of collecting sensory cues, tvith materials consisting respectively of words, representative drawings and numbers. The experimental method used here compares crossed-transfer from identification to differential distinction and from distinction to identification. The transfer of the first type is negative for words and drawings, positive for numbers. The transfer of the second type is positive for words, drawings and numbers.
