Summary : The Bayes-fiducial reinterpretation of the analysis of variance F-test. The Bayes-fiducial reinterpretation of the usual F-test of the analysis of variance was illustrated, with concrete examples, first for one degree of freedom comparisons, then for several degrees of freedom comparisons. This reinterpretation enables us to understand the reasons for the inadequacy of significance tests in relation to the problem of the generalisability of descriptive conclusions in experimental research.
