A Biblical condemnation of an abortion-like procedure : an affirmation of the unalienable right to life endowed by nature\u27s God

It is my purpose to establish four points in my paper: (1) There is a universal moral standard derived from general revelation. Designated as natural law or moral law, it commends beneficial conditions such as being alive. What is implicit in general revelation is made explicit in special revelation, i.e. Scripture. (2) The human right to life is strongly affirmed in the Bible. (3) The application of the human right to life to the unborn is supported by Biblical evidence. (4) The deliberate destruction of the unborn is condemned by Scripture. My discussion of Biblical texts will focus primarily on those rarely or infrequently mentioned in the literature concerning the abortion issue
