We consider the structure learning problem of influence diffusion on social networks from the observation of edge weights and activated time of each node.We use the independent cascade model to describe the influence dynamics in the networks and formulize the likelihood function of the diffusion process based on the observed activated time.The structure learning problem is then turned into a maximization problem of the global likelihood function,which can be divided into the sum of maximizing likelihood functions of the activation process of each node.We further propose an algorithm to solve the maximization problem and carry out numerical simulations on synthetic networks and Gnutella networks to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.W...
