The photoluminescence spectra from a ZnTe/CdTe multiple quantum wells were obtained at 300 and 81 K. Using a simple Kronig-Penney model, taking into consideration the effect of strain on the energy bands, we have calculated the energy levels of the multiple quantum wells. The photoluminescent peaks are agree with the calculated results.EI1-4470-47411
