The combinative energy in the YBa2Cu3O7-?? with the different ?? value, from 0.07 to 0.62, was calculated based on two-block model. In order to compensate for the deficiency of the ionic model for the YBa2Cu3O7-??, some holes were directly put on the different planes in the YBa2Cu3O7-??. When the holes are on the Cu(2)-O plane, the calculated result is perfectly consistent with the fact that the carriers mainly concentrate on the Cu(2)-O plane. When the holes are on the Cu(1)-O plane, The combinative energy shows the same trend as that on the Cu(2)-O plane, but the plateau in the range of ?? approx. 0.35 - 0.55 is different.
